MEKKA — Het Ministerie van Hadj en Umrah heeft de schorsing aangekondigd van vier Umrah-bedrijven die diensten verlenen aan pelgrims, na constatering van diverse overtredingen binnen de sector.

Deze beslissing maakt deel uit van de voortdurende inspanningen van het ministerie om toezicht te houden op de naleving van de geldende regels en richtlijnen door dienstverleners, en om de kwaliteit van de diensten aan pelgrims te waarborgen.

Het ministerie legde uit dat de overtredingen onder meer bestonden uit twee bedrijven die onjuiste lijsten met pelgrimsgroepen hadden ingediend, terwijl twee andere bedrijven pelgrims niet volgens de geldende procedures hadden ontvangen. Deze acties vormen duidelijke schendingen van de regels en richtlijnen voor de dienstverlening aan Umrah-pelgrims en bezoekers van de Moskee van de Profeet.

Het ministerie bevestigde dat er snel juridische stappen zullen worden ondernomen tegen de overtredende bedrijven om de rechten van pelgrims te beschermen en herhaling van dergelijke overtredingen te voorkomen. En 2025, il sera commémoré que les Pays-Bas et l'Arabie saoudite ont établi des relations consulaires officielles il y a 150 ans. Cela a fait des Pays-Bas l'un des premiers pays européens à établir des relations avec l'Arabie saoudite. Hadjinfo et Atlasbridges/Go Arabic en collaboration avec ses partenaires officiels veulent prendre ce fait comme ligne directrice ou fil conducteur pour leurs activités pour l'année 2025/1447. Hadjinfo avec ses partenaires placera ses activités sous ce « drapeau » autant que possible cette année et l'année à venir. Le programme d'activités de Hadjinfo pour l'année à venir, basé sur 155 ans de liens mutuels, portera attention aux divers aspects de la culture et de l'histoire entre les Pays-Bas et l'Arabie saoudite.

Il va sans dire que nous considérons l'évolution des liens économiques et culturels au cours des 150 dernières années. Cependant, nous trouvons qu'il est plus important de garder un œil sur l'avenir; après tout, des milliers de personnes d'origine saoudienne vivent aux Pays-Bas et quelques centaines de Néerlandais en Arabie saoudite. Que peuvent apprendre les Saoudiens et les Néerlandais les uns des autres dans le domaine culturel, social et économique ? « 155 ans des Pays-Bas et de l'Arabie saoudite » vise d'une part à montrer comment s'est déroulée cette rencontre et à en rappeler les événements les plus importants, d'autre part, elle veut commémorer et honorer l'histoire commune en organisant diverses manifestations dans un certain nombre de grandes villes des Pays-Bas et d'Arabie saoudite.

En 2025/1447, Hadjinfo lancera de nombreux projets avec ses partenaires. Dans le domaine de la culture, de l'économie, de l'éducation et du tourisme en collaboration avec ses partenaires. En 2019, environ 2,5 millions de personnes ont participé aux rituels, mais leur nombre a été considérablement réduit au cours des deux années suivantes en raison de la pandémie.

« Le nombre de pèlerins reviendra à ce qu’il était avant la pandémie, sans limite d’âge », a déclaré le ministre du Hadj et de la Omra Tawfiq Al Rabiah aux journalistes à Riyad.

Le pèlerinage – l’un des cinq piliers de l’islam, et que tous les musulmans valides doivent effectuer au moins une fois par des moyens – est prévu pour juin.
